Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe star in this black comedy fantasy drama directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. When medical student Max McCandles (Ramy Youssef) begins working with eccentric surgeon Godwin Baxter (Dafoe), he falls in love with Godwin's ward, Bella (Stone). He soon learns that Godwin resurrected Bella after her death and gave her the brain of an infant. However, as Bella's mind develops, she begins to crave knowledge and life experience and embarks on a journey of self-discovery that takes her across Europe as she breaks free from those who would control her. The cast also includes Jerrod Carmichael, Hanna Schygulla, Suzy Bemba and Christopher Abbott.
