Aberdeen City Libraries invites you to join our Aberdeen Reads Summer Challenge as Library Bear travels through time!

Help us to send Library Bear back in time with year’s time travelling-themed reading challenge.  Library Bear needs 350 books read, challenges completed or library event attended to visit as many historical periods as possible.  The more you do, the further Library Bear will travel to the past!

Get your reading card stamped - available from your nearest library, participating community venue or downloadable from our website - throughout the summer to earn incentives.

Running from Saturday 22 June until Saturday 24 August, this challenge is aimed at children, young people and families but everyone can participate.  Only 4-15yrs old will earn incentives.  So, get reading with your friends and enjoy a summer of adventure.

Start collecting stamps from the 22 June!
