Summary:
Emma Mackey and Fiona Shaw star in this drama directed by Rebecca Lenkiewicz. Rose (Shaw) brings her daughter Sofia (Mackey) with her when she travels to Spain for a consultation with Dr. Gomez (Vincent Perez) about the debilitating pain she experiences which means she cannot walk unaided and must use a wheelchair. Sofia's life is limited by her mother's condition and she has spent years trying to understand it. Now as Rose receives treatment, Sofia finds herself increasingly drawn to Ingrid (Vicky Krieps) and later decides to visit her estranged father but if she is going to live her own life, she must first face her mother. The cast also includes Patsy Ferran, Yann Gael and Vangelis Mourikis.
