They move to New York where Li struggles to fit in until he meets Mia (Sadie Stanley) and her father Victor (Joshua Jackson). However, Mia's former boyfriend Connor (Aramis Knight), a karate champion, will not leave Li alone. With Mr. Han's encouragement, Li decides it is time to face his past trauma and so he enters a tournament in which Connor will also be competing. With Mr. Han and Daniel LaRusso (Macchio) training him together, can Li successfully blend their differing styles and emerge victorious? The cast also includes Ming-Na Wen, Wyatt Oleff and Tim Rozon.
