The Aberdeen City Local Plan forms a major part of the City Council's corporate vision for the future management of the city up to 2011 based upon the current Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Structure Plan - North East Scotland Together (NEST) The Local Plan will, when adopted , contribute to many of the aims of the Community Plan which seeks to improve the availability of housing - particularly family and affordable housing, marketable land for business and industrial development, and to promote social inclusion and sustainable development.
