Two days ago, on his home planet of Imaginaria, he entered the Anywhere Cabinet - a magical, intergalactic vessel - and things did not go according to plan. and along with his beloved pet, he accidentally crash-landed on Planet Earth, where he now finds himself stranded. Before he can return home, Kal must repair the Anywhere Cabinet and find his pet. But no-one on Earth who meets Kal believes him when he tries to explain his predicament, and so he decides to keep a diary to document his struggles in this strange new land.
