Manuscript recollections of Alexander Jaffray, born 1755 in Kingswell. The text details his own experiences and those of his family. A transcript of the text, edited by G. M. Fraser with an introduction and notes, was published in The Miscellany of the Third Spalding Club, volume 1 (1935). This manuscript was purchased by the Public Library Committee in 1932. The date of composition is unknown. Fraser suggests Alexander Jaffray may have written these recollections while living in Dublin.
