Summary:
Meldrum Parish Church stands on a hill on the road out of Oldmeldrum, past the golf course, to Tarves, enjoying a pleasant vista looking out over the village it serves. The first extension or cemetery, which lies immediately to the east of the kirkyard, was first used in 1891 and Aberdeenshire Council records the first internment as a James Barron on 30th July, 1891.
