Set in the Shetland Islands, the programme follows Perez as he works to solve a number of murder mysteries. He is assisted by Detective Sergeant Alison 'Tosh' Macintosh (Alison O'Donnell) and Detective Constable Sandy Wilson (Steven Robertson). In this series, Perez and the team investigate when Connor Cairns (Nicholas Nunn) disappears shortly after his sister Abbie (Lauren Conroy) is forced off the road while driving.
