Summary:
British comedy drama based on the true story of Maurice Flitcroft. A shipyard worker from Cumbria, Flitcroft (Mark Rylance) managed to gain entry to the 1976 British Open qualifying, despite never having played golf before. After shooting the worst round in Open history, he must deal with the reactions of his family and the golfing community. Sally Hawkins and Rhys Ifans also star.
