Summary:
Keira Knightley and Gugu Mbatha-Raw star in this British drama set during the 1970 Miss World contest. As London prepares to host the prestigious event, mature student Sally Alexander (Knightley) crosses paths with feminist activist Jo Robinson (Jessie Buckley), and together they plot to infiltrate the competition and sabotage it from the inside. Meanwhile, Jennifer Hosten (Mbatha-Raw) aka Miss Grenada arrives hoping to become the first black contestant to take the Miss World crown, only for the event to descend into chaos as Women's Liberation activists seek to disrupt proceedings. The cast also includes Lesley Manville, Greg Kinnear, Keeley Hawes and Rhys Ifans.
