Summary:
Pierce Brosnan stars in this drama directed by Terry Loane. 92-year-old Artie Crawford (Brosnan) is living in a nursing home in Belfast and has recently lost his wife. Haunted by his past and the loss of his best friend in the war, on the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy he decides to escape from his care facility and travel to France so that he can pay his respects to his friend. Though initially hampered by his expired passport, the people he meets along the way are committed to helping him reach his destination. The cast also includes Clémence Poésy, Jürgen Prochnow and John Amos.
