A murder investigation places the victim's wife as the main suspect when a man is mysteriously found lying dead in the snow outside of their isolated chalet. As Sandra (Hüller) works to prove her innocence, she must depend on her blind son, Daniel (Graner), to convey the truth when he is the only witness to his father, Samuel (Theis)'s death. When the police begin to question whether Samuel fell from a height or was pushed, will Daniel's testimony be the key to her freedom or assure her guilt?
