Summary:
All six episodes of the historical drama which follows three women who leave Jamaica in 1957 to start new lives in Britain. Sisters Leah (Rochelle Neil) and Chantrelle (Saffron Coomber) and their friend Hosanna (Yazmin Belo) are all seeking better lives and new opportunities. While Leah and Hosanna face racism and hostility after settling in Dudley, Chantrelle must put her dreams of becoming a movie star on hold and navigate a difficult job as a nanny.
