Summary:
David Gordon Green directs this sixth instalment in the horror franchise, a direct sequel to 'The Exorcist' of 1973. When two girls emerge from the woods with no memory of the last few days, their parents seek answers. Contacting Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn), whose daughter went missing 50 years ago under similar circumstances, they discover that the strange behaviour that their daughters are exhibiting is actually a state of possession.
