Summary:
Collection of three made-for-TV mystery dramas depicting alternative fictional histories involving crime writer Agatha Christie. In 'Agatha and the Truth of Murder' (2018), Agatha (Ruth Bradley) disappears in 1926 to covertly investigate the unsolved murder of Florence Nightingale Shore (Stacha Hicks), who was killed on a train six years previously. 'Agatha and the Curse of Ishtar' (2019) finds Agatha (Lyndsey Marshal) recently divorced and travelling to Iraq to visit friends at an archaeological site. Hoping to find some peace and enjoy her trip, she is instead soon trying to solve a series of murders. Finally, in 'Agatha and the Midnight Murders' (2020), Agatha (Helen Baxendale) has just completed her latest manuscript in which she has killed Hercule Poirot. In need of money, she plans to sell the manuscript to a willing fan, but an air raid siren interrupts the meeting at a London hotel. As she waits for the bombing to end, she is forced to seek safety underground, but when her manuscript is stolen and the buyer is poisoned, she must identify the killer among the strangers sheltering with her.
