Summary:
Georg Friedrich stars in this Swiss drama written and directed by Tobias Nölle. The film follows private investigator Aloys Adorn (Friedrich) as he is drawn into the world of telephone walking, a Japanese concept allowing the person to imagine himself in situations described over the phone. Following his father (Karl Friedrich)'s passing, Aloys is left to run the family detective business alone. However, he refuses to accept his father's death and continues living as if he were still there with him. As he continues his daily observations of his targets, Aloys' extensive collection of surveillance tapes are stolen one day when he falls asleep on a bus. A woman (Tilde von Overbeck) calls him and blackmails him into taking part in telephone walking in exchange for the safe return of his tapes. Aloys agrees but his mind grows more fragile as he slowly loses his grip on reality.
