Summary:
A short account of the life of Ion Keith-Falconer (1856-1887), Arabic scholar, missionary, and third son of Francis Alexander Keith-Falconer, eighth earl of Kintore (1828–1880), and Louisa Madaleine Hawkins (1835-1916). The text was originally delivered as an address by the author to the Royal Caledonian Society in Australia on the occasion of one of their member becoming Chief of the Keith Clan as commissioned by the Earl of Kintore.
