Summary:
Animated sci-fi adventure directed by Chris Sanders. When robot Roz (voice of Lupita Nyong'o) is swept off a cargo ship during a storm, she finds herself washed up on an uninhabited island and must adapt to her new surroundings. After being struck by lightning and attacked by a bear, she accidentally crushes a goose's nest and saves the only remaining egg. When it hatches, Roz names the gosling Brightbill (Kit Connor) and begins to care for him, determined to help him learn to fly so he won't be left behind when the rest of his flock migrate. Although she makes friends and finds a home on the island, she cannot outrun her past forever and soon the robots sent to retrieve her threaten the safety of the place she has come to love. The voice cast also includes Pedro Pascal, Catherine O'Hara and Bill Nighy.
