Summary:
Paul Giamatti and Paul Rudd star in this seasonal family comedy directed by Phil Morrison. Released from prison on parole, Dennis (Giamatti) returns to his hometown to find his wife has shacked up with his former criminal accomplice Rene (Rudd) and told his young daughter that he has died to protect her from the shame of having a father in prison. Determined to get his life back on track and buy his daughter the present she dreams of, Dennis travels to New York City with Rene to sell Christmas trees. But can they manage to maintain their legitimate business operation without turning to crime?
