Why are local wildflowers and insects so important?  This talk will look at some of the ways wildflowers and insects help each other and what we can do to help both. Our speaker John Malster has been involved with NESBiP as a volunteer since its inception nearly 30 years ago.  A former Countryside Ranger, for the last 24 years John has run a family business - Curam Fyvie.  Its work has been a mixture of habitat creation, advice and environmental education.  John and his wife Kate have also been growing local provenance wildflowers for that time which have been planted on many sites in NE Scotland
