Hong Kong war drama directed by Po-Chih Leong. Ha Yuk-nam (Cecilia Yip), Yip Kim-fei (Chow Yun-fat) and Wong Hak-keung (Alex Man) are planning to leave Hong Kong and seek their fortunes elsewhere but when the Imperial Japanese Army invades in 1941, they are unable to escape. As they attempt to adapt to life under occupation, their situation becomes increasingly perilous and their bonds of love and friendship are tested to the limit. The cast also includes Shih Kien, Wu Ma and Paul Chun.
