American comedy starring Val Kilmer as Nick Rivers, a rock singer on tour in East Germany. After a chance encounter with Hillary Flammond (Lucy Gutteridge), Nick agrees to help free her imprisoned scientist father (Michael Gough). What he doesn't know is that Hillary is a member of the local resistance movement and Nick soon finds himself involved in an attempt to thwart a Communist takeover of the West.
