Martial arts action comedy starring Jackie Chan. A turn-of-the-century Hong Kong marine (Chan, who also co-directs) and his squad have made a dismal mess of trying to capture the notorious pirates and cut-throats that infest the China Sea. Little do they know that their failure is due to a traitor in their midst. The rivalry between the marines and the police comes to a head in a spectacular bar room brawl. Eventually the two rival groups unite against the pirates and mount a raid on their lair.
