"Identify the homes your ancestors lived in. This map identifies the modern address for the two sets of Seafield Estate plot numbers used in the censuses 1861 to 1901. House or plot numbers in Portknockie prior to 1873 were allocated by the Seafield Estate apparently in the order the houses were built. Around about 1873 they changed the numbering system and the houses were re-numbered. In 1919 the modern street names were introduced. Since 1919, several streets have been re-named. The map uses the modern (year 2010) house number and street. Sites of demolished buildings are marked in red on the map and in sqaure brackets [...] in the table." Includes a list of names of properties, and plot numbers. The names of inhabitants of 11 and 18 Reidhaven Street from 1861-1901 are included on reverse of map.
