Box set containing the entire fifth series of the popular crime drama. In 'Second Time Around', the murder of a retired police superintendent results in the re-opening of an old case, and Morse (John Thaw) finds himself in conflict with a former colleague. 'Fat Chance' sees Morse and Lewis (Kevin Whately) investigating the murder of a female cleric who was about to be ordained as a priest. In 'Who Killed Harry Field?', the death of a local painter leads Morse into the environs of Oxford's bohemian art world. 'Greeks Bearing Gifts' sees Morse coming up against a language barrier when a Greek waiter is found murdered, and in 'Promised Land', Morse and Lewis are forced to travel to Australia to track down a police informant who has assumed a new identity.
