There are many areas within Balnagask, Tullos and Torry where evidence of their intensely rich history can still be seen - in some cases within a semi-rural setting. This book includes a brief introduction to the history and archaeology of the area, followed by a selected list of presently known sites, many of which can still be visited and explored. In all there are over 200 sites within Balnagask, Tullos and Torry which are recorded in the Aberdeen City Council Sites and Monuments record.
