Japanese anime sequel directed by Mamoru Oshii. In 2002, a series of devastating attacks threaten the citizens of Tokyo and soon, martial law is declared. Police officers Ki'ichi Goto (voice of Ryusuke Obayashi) and Shinobu Nagumo (Yoshiko Sakakibara) covertly reassemble their former team with the aim of apprehending Yukihito Tsuge (Jinpachi Nezu), the man responsible for the attacks. Can they uncover the full extent of the conspiracy and stop Tsuge before forces outside Japan intervene?
