Michael Douglas and Sean Penn star in this 1990s American thriller directed by David Fincher. Successful San Francisco investment banker Nicholas Van Orton (Douglas) approaches his 48th birthday with some trepidation. To mark the occasion Nicholas receives a life-changing introduction to Consumer Recreation Services from his younger brother, Conrad (Penn), and is informed that he is now playing 'The Game'. Nicholas soon finds himself losing control and threatened with the loss of not just his company and fortune but also his life.
