Books, Manuscripts
"It is now a familar cliche to refer to Aberdeen as 'Europe's Oil Capital'. But that is how the city sees itself. As it enters its second decade as the main UK centre for the offshore industry, Aberdeen is preparing for a new boom similar to, although perhaps not so dramatic as, the early 70s when the granite city suddenly became the Mecca for British exploration and production. Daphne Duffy reports from Grampian".
