Paul W.S. Anderson directs this sci-fi horror starring Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neill. In the year 2047, the spaceship Lewis and Clark sets out to locate the missing vessel Event Horizon which disappeared soon after its launch seven years earlier. In command of the rescue mission is Captain Miller (Fishburne) who is joined by Event Horizon designer Dr William Weir (Neill). They follow a recently detected distress signal to the missing craft but when they arrive they find evidence of a violent massacre and are plagued by nightmarish visions which threaten their sanity and their lives. The cast also includes Joely Richardson, Katheen Quinlan and Jason Isaacs.
