Luc Besson directs and co-writes this French drama starring Isabelle Adjani and Christopher Lambert. Set in Paris, the film portrays life underground for the denizens of the Metro. Fred (Lambert) is a thief who breaks into a house and hides out in the subway, only to discover a huge subculture existing under the Paris streets.
