Peter Sellers, Constance Cummings and Robert Morley star in this British comedy directed by Charles Crichton. The old-fashioned tweed company that Mr. Martin (Sellers) works for comes under American influence, following the death of the elderly owner, and attempts are made to modernise the business and make it more efficient. However, when a woman, Angela Barrows (Cummings), is sent to carry out this work Mr. Martin leads the men in their revolt against modernisation and any female input.
