The Ythan Project has been launched by the Formartine Partnership and aims to develop the sustainable managment of the Ythan catchment and Formartine area. This project plan is comprised of two main sections : background information on the physical, social and economic characteristics of the Project area and discussion of identified issues ; and the management/plan itself, which details aims and objectives for specific project proposals and identifies priority or phase one projects.
