Classic horror directed and co-written by Carl Theodor Dreyer. While travelling near the village of Courtempierre, occult-obsessed wanderer Allan Gray (Julian West) meets Giséle (Rena Mandel) and Léone (Sybille Schmitz), two sisters. Léone is gravely ill and Gray realises she is in thrall to a vampyr. He must identify the vampyr and kill them to lift the curse.
