Rufus Sewell stars in this sci-fi thriller directed by Alex Proyas. When John Murdoch (Sewell) wakes in an unfamiliar hotel room, he discovers that he is suffering from amnesia and is wanted for a series of murders. Pursued by Inspector Frank Bumstead (William Hurt) and a group of pale men called the Strangers, Murdoch goes on the run in a city caught in a perpetual state of night. As he fights to uncover the truth about who he is and what is happening to him, he makes a shocking discovery about the Strangers and their relationship to him. The cast also includes Kiefer Sutherland, Jennifer Connelly and Richard O'Brien.
