In this cult film Johnny Suede (Brad Pitt) adopts his name when he decides to become a rock star - just after a pair of suede shoes mysteriously lands on the roof of a phonebox he is using. But times are hard: the band is not an immediate success and the woman he loves uses him to get back with her regular boyfriend. He then meets Yvonne after rescuing her when he spots a midget looking up her skirt, and she decides to take him on. Look out for Nick Cave as the peroxide singer Freak Storm.
