Love and chocolate are the predominant themes of this French romantic comedy. Benoît Poelvoorde plays Jean-René, the owner of a small chocolate factory whose emotional angst has caused him to remain single despite his deep love of women. When he meets the equally sensitive Angélique (Isabelle Carré), who also happens to be one of the world's finest chocolatiers, the two inevitably fall in love. But how do two chronically shy people reach out to one another and negotiate the emotional minefield of a new love affair?
