David Lynch directs this psychological horror drama which serves as a prequel to the television series of the same name. As Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) struggles to juggle her double life, she sinks deeper into a personal hell involving nightmarish visions, drug addiction and the terrible truth about the identity of the mysterious assailant who has been tormenting her for years. Meanwhile, Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) investigates the death of Teresa Banks (Pamela Gidley) who was killed one year ago but the case is plagued with inexplicable occurrences and proves difficult to solve. Unfortunately, time is running out for Laura... The cast also includes Ray Wise, David Bowie and Kiefer Sutherland.
