In 1883, Captain Chris Hanson and his passengers depart from Singapore to search for lost treasure. They eventually arrive at the island of Krakatoa, but their expedition is thrown into turmoil by a combination of a rebellion from the thirty prisoners aboard the ship and the eruption of a local volcano.
