Raoul (Gerard Depardieu) tries to cure his wife's sexual coldness by procuring her a lover. He persuades his friend Stephan (Patrick Dewaere) to join in a menage-ù-trois, but in the end it is a solemn adolescent who awakens his wife's desires. Winner of the Best Foreign Film Oscar in 1978.
