Abstract: A young man is dumped by his girlfriend, so moves back in with his mother and little sister in a trailer park in Detroit; in order to escape from his humdrum job at the local steel plant, he enters a rapping contest at a local nightspot. Basically a re-working of "Rocky", this is nonetheless an excellent acting debut for Eminem and made over Đ12 million at the UK box office.
