Collection of two classic British crime dramas. In 'Port of Escape' (1956), two sailors (John McCallum and Bill Kerr) dock in London in search of a good time during their short stint on land. But when one of them fatally stabs a man during a scuffle in a bar, the pair flee the scene, commandeer a boat and take the three women on board (Joan Hickson, Googie Withers and Wendy Danielli) hostage as they try to outrun the law. In 'Date with Disaster' (1957), two partners in a garage firm (Shirley Eaton and Maurice Kaufmann) are aided by a professional crook (William Hartnell) as they try to defraud their boss (Tom Drake) of 20,000 pounds while he's away on holiday.
