Teenage drama written and directed by Naomi Foner. When two best friends fall for the same older guy during the summer before they set off for college, their lifelong friendship is put under intense strain for the first time. As the pair develop a fondness for the artistic ice cream vendor David (Boyd Holbrook), Lilly (Dakota Fanning) starts seeing him in secret with Gerri (Elizabeth Olsen) oblivious to her friends' fledgling relationship. But as Lilly struggles with her conflicting loyalties, she tries to force David towards Gerri in a bid to repair their deteriorating friendship, creating deeper problems for the close-knit love triangle. The cast also includes Demi Moore, Clark Gregg and Peter Sarsgaard.
