Sci-fi anime written and directed by Yasuhiro Yoshiura. In the near future androids are in everyday use and look almost identical to humans, but instead of getting the respect they feel they deserve, those they serve take their unique abilities for granted and treat them like convenient appliances. When he decides to follow his android Sammy (Rie Tanaka), Rikuo (Jun Fukuyama) and his friend Masaki (Kenji Nojima) discover a place where humans and androids are treated equally: a cafe known as the Time of Eve. But as the androids begin to seek independence from the status rings floating above their heads, those who believe them to be a threat fight to keep them imprisoned in their rightful domestic environment...
