In June 2011, the "Commission on the Future Delivery of Public Services (the "Christie Commission" reported its findings based on a long-term analysis of the challenges facing public services. The Commission recommended actions that would improve the quality of public services provided in Scotland and ensure their future financial sustainability. This document presents our response to the Christie Commission and outlines the Scottish Government's approach to and priorities for public service reform.
