The lovable sea sponge returns in this feature-length animated adventure. When SpongeBob and his friends are swept away by a giant wave, they find themselves stranded on a desert island. While trying to make their way back to Bikini Bottom, they encounter surf guru, Jack Kahuna Laguna (voice of Johnny Depp), who tells them that the only way for them to get home is to surf the legendary wave called 'The Big One.'.
