Crime thriller set in the brutal underworld of sex trafficking. When Adriana (Paulina Gaitan), a 13-year-old girl from Mexico City, is kidnapped by members of a sex trafficking gang, her older brother Jorge (Cesar Ramos) embarks on a desperate search for his sister, dodging immigration officers and witnessing horrific kidnappings as he negotiates his way through the sex trade 'tunnels' between Mexico and the United States. Adriana is befriended in her plight by Polish single mother Veronika (Alicja Bachleda-Curus), who has been tricked into the sex trade by the same criminal gang. Along the way Jorge meets Texas cop Ray Sheridan (Kevin Kline), who is searching for his missing daughter, and the two forge a close bond as they unite in their quest to track down their loved ones.
