Being able to get dressed on their own gives children a major sense of achievement. This book features children wearing a variety of outfits or accessories, each with a different fastener or interactive novelty: a zipper to do up a raincoat, velcro to fasten an umbrella, a bow to tie up a dress; a button to fasten dungarees, a teddy to take out of a rucksack and a toothbrush to find beneath the flap of a pocket. The real zipper, bow, velcro and button allow children to practise hand and co-ordination skills.
