Books, Manuscripts
Gerda "Pytt" Geddes trained as a dancer and a psychoanalyst, worked with the Norwegian resistance, outwitted a Gestapo trap, survived a Chinese People's Liberation Army invasion and was held hostage for two years in Shanghai. In Hong Kong she persuaded a Chinese ta'i-chi master to do the unthinkable and teach a Western woman. She then became the first European to bring t'ai-chi to Britain, where her teachings influenced the lives of thousands of people.
